Now that's some odd lighting! Almost looks like sunlight, but the sky is so dark...very cool. Love the ominous looking tree shapes hovering on either side as well.
Gah, were you driving?? Okay okay, I admit I've taken a number of photos myself while at the wheel. This one is fantastic!! The lighting on the road compared to the sky is stunning.
Beauty! you've done wonders with those colour- and lighteffects, but the biker also makes the photo. If he wasn't there, the image wouldn't be so great as it is :)
Thank you all for visiting and commenting, I really appreciate all the feedback.
Tonal adjustments were done via hue/saturation in Photoshop’s layer palette. I also used curve adjustments to lighten selected areas. There is so much that could be done playing around with the layer adjustments since you have the ability to mask certain areas.
Pierre: thanks yes I have designed the site myself and had an MT expert work on the code side of the project.
Micki: yes it was fun and different subject than my usual.
BobC: most of the effect you see is via multiple (hue/saturation) layer adjustments and then masking. There is also some curve adjustments done too.
Roger: I am still experimenting. I am sure you have your own techniques no one else can get done the way you do.
Tommy: I was, I took a bunch of shots some weren’t acceptable at all!
Kenny: I think it’s getting lucky and the fact this guy was riding in front of my car for about 30/40 minutes before he made a turn that I didn’t need to make.
Superb tone and lovely lighting.
I agree with Ashish, the tone is superb. Although there is nothing striking about the surroundings, you have made an extraordinary image of it.

Very nice, compliments...
Asolutely surreal!
Fantastic lighting and contrasts
The lighting is awesome, excellent tonal range.

Love the tone and mood in this one!
great tone and lovely lighting.
Great sunlight on the road. Looks like you had fun shooting this one.
Incredible lines and tone, really leads your eye right into the shot. The sets of tree's at either side really work well. Fantastic capture.
The colortones, the composition, the light, the mood... it's all perfect. Great picture.
love the colours - catch that bike!! cheers ;D
Amazing golden glow.
That's quite a striking image and very effective. I'd be interested to hear what processing you did here as its worked very well.
Great shot. I love your processing. I have tried but can't seem to get the same feel.

This shot is absolutely great. I love the gradient sky and the powercables leading into the frame. Nice work!

You are pretty good in shooting while driving. I like this as well as the first one.
