Beautiful composition + outstanding framing, very well done.

Wow, this is cool! The bright color of the flag against the dull sky looks great.

Philly is a great city. The sky is so forboding in this shot very cool.

Ominous clouds with the perfectly centered flat and light. Along with the circular angle at the bottom this is a very strong, hopeful image.

Looks great, especially shot so close to the ground.

Usualy I don't like flags, almost as overdone as kitty pix, especialy old glory, but I gotta say this is one heck of a great picture.

So many cool lines here. That curve of the frozen water fountain really makes this shot. Nice.

Way to get down low on this one! It really makes the shot. Also, great dynamic range.

ah. the good ol' phila museum of art. i need to trek back down there soon. i love the mood youve set in this image. very nicely done.

Very good shot!

Superb shot, the composition is brilliant and that sky is stunning. Great shot :)

nice sky

i like how the lines are working in here. the soft yet dramatic sky is really neat.

More great lighting. I like how the flag is highlighted.

Good evening,
This is an excellent compo. Good contrasted and colored sky. The result is more than correct!

Great composition, Really works well.

Compliemti, bellissima fotografia e ottimi effetti cromatici.

great atmosphere. is this a HDR / DRI job ? looks beautiful

In my opinion The sky is the best part of this photo.

agree-beautiful composition. thank you.

i like the colors - very nice sky!
impressive photoblog!

Very apocalyptic image. Looks like the last american flag standing after the western world has been blown to bits.

Thank you all for stopping by and all your positive comments. I like this shot myself too. Out of the 10-12 shots I did from this very spot, none of them had the flag looking this perfect with wind in it.
As many of you noticed this was shot from front of the Philadelphia Art Museum on last Sunday.
Moeview: water fountain wasn’t really frozen but it was painted with white and had some cracks in it. That’s the reason it looks frozen otherwise it was a mild day.
Philip, no this is not either HDR or DRI, just a RAW image processed in Photoshop.

Check back soon I will be going down town with in next few weeks with more interesting shots from Philadelphia.

Thanks,
- noushin
