Thank you very much every one for all the recent visits and comments, I enjoy reading them all : ) This is the same fisherman I shot last week, a slightly different shot and view. Also tried this one with background which I posted to my flickr account. But then I decided to use the (almost) original shot here. Let me know if you prefer one to other. Thanks again for stopping by : )

What a great series of shots. Excellent!
great soft tones! I think I prefer the one without background! it was good on the blue fisherman (which was amazing!) but this one is good by itself!
... nice "monotone" on both ...
Powerful shot!
Were you on land when this shot was taken? Did the fisherman know he was being shot?
Just curious, because either way, I love this one!
I like this one a lot. I think I like it a bit better than the one with the texturing.
First time on your website and I love your photos. very different to what I have seen on other blogs. beautiful contrast in this shot
Brad: I was standing on the dock as I was shooting him. There was another local photographer there too, and we had a short conversation with the fisherman before he faded to fog very quickly. We were both concern if he would find his way back since the visibility was zero.
Thank you all for checking out my shots and commenting : )
That is one buff fisherman! I think I see him working out when I go to the gym...kidding.
I like the soft coloring on this better than the other photo but I don't like how the fisherman is poised for some reason.
Beautiful work.
such a nice transition upwards drawing your eyes into the subject. very nice!
Simple and nice composition. Very peaceful.
I'm quite a fan of minimalist shots like this... I like your composition and the fact that there is no real horizon.
great atmosphere !
Beautiful!
I have enjoyed your work for the last hour and a half. I kept returning to this picture of a lone fisherman. It says something to me. What, I don't know. It is just very appealing in composition, contrast and content. Wonderful. Thank you for being there. Raul
Incredibly awesome...merde alors. Keep on shooting the world like this.
Great sense of quietness and calm about this. Nicely done
